Edelbrock Part # 2703 Performer EPS intake manifold is designed for 1986 and earlier 262-400 cubic-inch Chevys. Edelbrock's Patented Dual-plane, low-rise design with a 180-degree firing order greatly improves torque over a wide rpm range for excellent throttle response. This intake manifold combines a modern runner design with a front-mounted oil fill tube for those who want the vintage look of our Classic valve covers with no breathers. This small-block Chevy manifold has a runner design that's "tuned" for peak torque at 3500 rpm on a 350-inch engine and it's ideal for power from off-idle to 5500 rpm. Dyno tests showed gains of 5 hp and 9 ft-lbs. of torque over the Edelbrock Performer intake manifold #2101 on a 350 Chevy. From 3000 to 4500 rpm, the increases averaged 5+ ft-lbs. of torque for more performance where you need it most. In addition, the Edelbrock Performer EPS #2703 dual-plane intake manifold is optimized to deliver superior performance with Edelbrock square-bore Performer Series or Thunder Series AVS carburetors. Includes Oil Fill Tube (not installed) and matching push-in breather cap.

- Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
- Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
- NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure a proper seal.
- DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings, this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread.
- Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
- Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.
- Even though manifolds are compatible with EGR systems, this does not mean they are legal for use on emissions controlled vehicles. Check local laws for legality.
- Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
